Most adopted children report that they enjoy going to school. However, adopted children tend to struggle more in school. Parents need to be prepared to advocate for their child. Parents also play a major role in helping the school community understand adoption and how to talk about it. This resource guide is not an all-inclusive list, but rather a tool to help you access the information you need.
